Sci-Fi: Days of fear and wonder

The following are notes which I have made from a book called 'Sci-Fi: Days of Fear and Wonder', published by the BFI (British Film Institute) in 2014. The book is essentially a compendium of articles and documentation about the science fiction gene. I have made notes on top of these selected pages and found how they relate to the Star Wars franchise. The notes I have made were used and referred to in my UNIT 26 – Sci-Fi Genre ppt:

I have included two different mind maps here showing the development since the start of my research into the science fiction genre and how Star Wars relates to it:

Articles

The following is an article I found on an online magazine company called 'Wired', the article was used for my 'Old Films for New' research into the success of the newest installment in the Star Wars franchise and my Star Wars/ Sci-Fi genre research.
