Final Edit (After Feedback)

Amelia Horner

The following is some research that Jason got from one of our early edits.

Jason first asked his sister for feedback on our early edit, this is what she said:

"Overall I liked the opening to your film as it has lots of varied camera angles which was effective in building suspense. I was especially intrigued by the use of a go pro camera to give the audience a unique perspective. The ending of it is very successful as it is ambiguous and encapsulating. The editing is sound and gives the film a professional finish. Throughout the production the actors kept in character and the feeling of tension was skillfully obtained. I would definitely be interested in seeing the film/more of their work. However I found that the lighting in some places was perhaps too dim or didn't fit with the tone of the scene."

Miss Lowdon

Here is the feedback we got from Miss Lowdon after showing her an early edit:

""I really enjoying watching this, great stuff. The character is portrayed in a way that I think adds real mystery about him and his backstory, which makes for a gripping opening. Some of the fonts however are too stylised and should be kept simple to remain conventional. I also think that a good idea would be to cut back how long the character looks at the alcohol bottle".

Miss Lowdon also sent myself ideas and suggestions for additional improvements which could be made further to improve our product after I created the first edit:

Once we got this feedback, I made a number of changes to our sequence, here you can see this change between an early version and modified version:
